KHALED TIRIKLI is a contemporary artist whose work is deeply influenced by Sufism, history, and the rich artistic traditions of the Ottoman and Arab worlds. Holding a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, he combines academic knowledge with a highly experimental and expressive artistic practice.

In addition to his studies in Fine Arts, Tirikli studied history, an influence that continues to shape his artistic vision. His work reflects a deep engagement with historical memory, cultural identity, and the evolution of Arabic calligraphy — an art form connected to his Ottoman heritage. Through this fusion of tradition and experimentation, he has developed a distinctive visual language that bridges the past and the contemporary world.

A strong advocate for women’s rights and human dignity, Tirikli often uses his art to address themes of violence, injustice, and social structures. His works invite reflection and dialogue, serving not only as visual experiences but also as powerful cultural and emotional statements.

His artistic techniques are diverse and experimental, frequently combining silkscreen printing with manual painting to create dynamic interactions between color, light, texture, and shadow.

Over 5,000 of his artworks are held in collections around the world. His work has been exhibited internationally in countries including France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Finland, Norway, Canada, the United States, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan.

Throughout his career, Tirikli has participated in more than one hundred solo and group exhibitions. His works have been collected by government institutions, private organizations, companies, and collectors internationally. Through his continuous exploration of human experience, spirituality, and society, Tirikli has established himself as a distinctive voice in contemporary art.
